Direct Mode of Address- engages audience and helps catch potential buyers eyesColour scheme- Black Gold and White, this is a convention of a digipak as it makes the album stand out. These colours are bold and show Jessie J’s brand as very flashy and different. This is carried on to the adverts found in magazines and billboards as well as her music videos. This further reinforces her brand. What is interesting is that the title for the album is not under the artists name or on the main part of the front cover, it is along the side. This reflects the title “Who You Are”, suggesting the artist does things her own way not the conventional way. This again goes with Jessie’s rebellious nature and the content of her lyrics. The typography also helps with a sense of branding as it is used in all of the other products promoting this album, it is a very bold font that matches both the colour scheme and the personality of the artist. The gold colour of the font could connote wealth but also excess.

The actors performance in this album is a medium shot, this allows us to see her defiant stance, its almost like the artist is challenging the audience to listen to the album. This again carries on the rebellious brand. The netted sleeves suggests that she is being sexualised but as we cannot see anymore of her figure I believe this more the artist being empowered by her own sexuality.

The lipstick is creating a sense of national identity that is carried over into her music videos, it shows she is part of the Brit Pop genre. The same font has been used throughout the CD Cover to further create a brandName of album is again on the CD.

Both the inside and back of the CD is mostly white, this suggests that this album and artist has really focused on the music in this album suggesting she is a serious artist.
