testo P2A Software: optimizing processes and saving commissioning and maintenance time
The Testo transmitters are delivered ready to use. For easy multi-unitprogramming and commissioning, the following functions are availablevia Testo's P2A (Programming, Adjustment and Analysis) software:
– Programming measuring unit and scale
– Sensor adjustment and adjustment of the analog outputs(humidity: 1-point, 2-point; pressure: n-point)
– Programming and adjustment history of all operations in theP2A software for each transmitter serial number is logged in the PC
Adjustment of the entire signal chain is possible directly atthe measurement site thanks to each transmitter's externalinterface. This saves time and money in commissioning
Additionally, complete parameter files for each transmitter can be stored inthe PC. Programming of spare transmitters or transfer to new measuring points is easily performed using testo P2A software.
Ethernet networking – Integration of transmitters into exisiting Ethernet network– Integration of transmitters into testo Saveris multipoint Ethernet and/or wireless mointoring systemTM
Using testo P2A software, unit and scale are easily programmed and recorded

Ethernet module(Intermediary layer)
Ethernet
The Ethernet module is anintermediary layer (field installdesign), which can be optionallyintegrated into the transmitterstesto 6681/6351. It can beeither factory installed orquickly retrofitted on site. TwoLEDs provide the responsiblesystem operator with informationon the status of the voltagesupply and the LAN connection.
The cable can be used to carryout an adjustment of a humidityprobe from the testo 6610 Series- either on site or in a metrologylaboratory. The cable also servesas an extension between thetransmitter and the respectiveprobe.
Advantages of the adjustment
By using an industrial Ethernetplug, IP65 housing protection canbe guaranteed, enabling thetransmitter to withstand thesometimes rough and demandingconditions in industrial processes.
and extension cable:
– Flexible installation andmaintenance of the humidityprobe
– Extension of the normalhumdity probe cable by 32 ft (10 m)
– Cable has protection classIP65
