1 Diana Pereira Neves Highlights Diana’s personal journey and multi-disciplinary experience, from science area to engineering and sports, allowed her to open her professional horizons. In the PhD Diana focused on the energy systems modeling, having published multiple articles on international peer-reviewed journals, having finished with maximum grade of honors and distinction. During 2016 and 2017 she worked as a post-doc researcher in multiple projects, having participated on consultancy projects for big utilities and municipalities, as well managed a project for a sustainable energy transition strategy for Terceira Island, where a new modeling and planning tool was developed. She also supervised master thesis within the projects scope and PhD students from Mozambique in a cooperation with Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian. Her main research interests are in Energy Systems Planning, smart grids’ technologies, renewable technology integration, peer-to-peer energy trading and applied research. Diana also counts with experience as a professional Olympic athlete from 2010 to 2012, in Sailing, having taken part in the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Diana Pereira Neves

Highlights

Diana’s personal journey and multi-disciplinary experience, from science area to engineering and sports, allowed her to open her professional horizons. In the PhD Diana focused on the energy systems modeling, having published multiple articles on international peer-reviewed journals, having finished with maximum grade of honors and distinction.
