Always look for opportunities to praise yourstudents! (individually)

Whatever gets attention, will increase.

Negative attention is better than no attention.

Whatever is true, whatever is right,

Whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, Whatever is

admirable, -if anything is Excellent or praise worth

Keep children involved in the classroom.

Think about assigning tasks each week (handing outpapers, supplies, helping tell the story, lead motions

for worship, etc.)

Ask questions to students when they seem to be

Use a 3-strike system for Correction.

Sometimes kids need to be reminded of theexpectations.

1. Remind the child of the rule broken. Use Reason

2. Recourse to the Spiritual realm. Use Religion.

3. Believe that the child can change. Use Love .

Consequences should be immediate and logicallyrelated to the mis-behaviour.

Talking with friend: move to another seat.

Make a mess: clean it up. Put down : say something

positive about the other person. Always try to

connect the childs choice. To misbehave with a

choice to accept the consequences.

Use voice and body language toemphasize the impact of a warning.

Maintain eye contact.

Say the childs name.

Lean forward.

Speak slowly and clearly.

Lower the pitch of your voice.

Move slowly.

Hand on shoulder or back.

from. You can play game with the group, or

you can sit on the side bench.

Helps child build a sense of responsibility

over his/ her own actions.
