    SCHOOL OF INSTRUMENTATION

    PROGRAMME CODE: IN7A PROGRAMME TITLE: MASTER OF TECHNOLOGY (M.Tech.)

    - INSTRUMENTATION OBJECTIVES:

    The programme is designed to educate in the field of Instrumentation. Our strength is in the field of Embedded System, Automation and Signal processing. The programme trains students to become professionals who are competent to choose from various methods when facing a particular problem in the field of Instrumentation.

    ELIGIBILITY:

    B.E./B. Tech. Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Physics with 55% marks in qualifying examination. Relaxation of 5% marks in eligibility for SC/ST candidates will be provided for the applicants of Madhya Pradesh domicile only. Or

    Candidates who have appeared in final year degree examination can also apply.

    Admission will be finalized if the result is declared before August 14, 2019 in the admission year and the candidate secures min. % of marks as mentioned above and in the above mentioned subjects.

    For sponsored candidates minimum two years working experience after qualifying degree is required. The sponsored candidates have to submit a certificate from the employer on the prescribed Performa.

    AGE LIMIT: As per the directives of Government of Madhya Pradesh, there is no upper age limit for admission in the programme.

    ADMISSION PROCEDURE: The admissions will be done as per merit in the gate/ entrance test conducted by the university.

    SEATS: 18 (UR-10, ST-2, SC-1, Sponsored-5).

    DURATION: Four Semesters (Two Years).

     Caution money (Refundable) of Rs. 4000/- will be charged additionally in the first semester.  Alumni Fee of Rs. 500/- will be charged extra in the first semester.  Rs. 5000/- per semester will be charged additional from sponsored candidates as Development

    and Maintenance Fee.  If a student repeats a paper(s) in a semester, an additional fee of Rs.500/- per paper shall be

    payable.  Hostel Fee and Central Library Fee will be extra.  For NRI/ FN/ PIO Candidates, a fee of US$ 3500 Per Annum shall be payable on yearly basis.

    They will have to pay a refundable deposit of US$ 500 once at the time of admission.
