Remove As Many Words As Possible

Exercise #1:Scan the paragraph below and remove as many words as possible.

The City of Cambridge and Harvard University are coordinating in order to make structural repairs as well as utility infrastructure improvements to the Cambridge Street Tunnel. In conjunction with that project, Harvard is also planning significant surface improvements that will enhance the safety and quality of pedestrian and bike access, provide a variety of informal outdoor seating areas and maintain a spectacular open space area that can be enjoyed by the entire community.  Improvements include the renovation of the landscape area between the Science Center and Memorial Hall and the restoration of the brick sidewalk adjacent to the north side of Harvard Yard, extending all the way from the plaza east to Quincy Street and west to Johnston Gate.  Enhancements will also include improved lighting, enhanced storm‐water management, and upgraded power sources and utility access.
