Mike Babcock is in his 9th season as head coach of the Red Wings.  He has compiled an impressive 385-175-82 regular season record duringhis tenure in the Motor City. Overall, Babcock is 454-237-19-96 during the regular season in his NHL career. In 2011-12, the 50-year-old nativeof Saskatoon, SK, became the 3rd-fastest coach to reach 400 wins, accomplishing the feat in 699 games.
