From the Northeast: Follow I-94/Edsel Ford Frwy WEST to I-75/Chrysler Frwy SOUTH. • From I-75 SOUTH, take Exit 51C: I-375/Chrysler Frwy – Civic Center (left 3 lanes) and move to the far left lane on the freeway. Madison Ave. • At the end of the ramp, continue straight ahead onto Madison St. for four blocks. • The GVSU Detroit Center is on the northwest corner of Madison St. and John R St. (At map coordinate D-4) Visitor Parking GVSU does not offer parking in downtown Detroit. The lot adjacent to the Detroit Center with an entrance on Witherell St (at map coordinate C-3) costs $5 before 3 p.m. and has a minimum of $6 after 3 p.m. on non-sporting event days.
