Did the youth turn 18 years of age in a DHHR placement? Has the youth completed their high school education? Does the youth plan to attend a college/university/vocational school that accepts the FAFSA application? Please be sure to make a referral to the program within 3 months prior to the semester when the youth is ready AND before their 23rd birthday. The youth’s referral can be made closer to the youth’s completion of their high school education. Does the youth plan to attend a college/university/vocational school that accepts the FAFSA application?
