Violation Example

1. Initial speed is captured between the leading and trialing edges of zone 1 (Speed = Distance/Time)

2. Red Light Camera checks for RED

Violation Example

3. Second speed is generated by the times captured between zone 1 and zone 2. Red Light Camera software checks whether speed is above the speed threshold. (~above 10 MPH)

4. First rear photo is taken.

5. The second rear photo is scheduled based on the speed so the vehicle appears in intersection.

6. Red Light Camera will also record a 12 second video. (Starting at the 1st rear photo taken)

Ticket Processing Images are transmitted to Data Center via

Virtual Private Network (VPN) Violation Processing Center (3 people) will

review images (Candidate?) Obtain vehicle owner information Send to Police Department for second review
