Function: Compressed air will flow through the ejector D and create a vacuum in the pump casing and suction line. After priming, the pumps will build up pres- sure in the discharge line which will activate the presure switch F . The presssure switch then dis- connect the power to the solenoid valves E and the priming stops automati- cally. At a fluid pressure of e.g. 10 m total head the unit will disconnect automati- cally (adjustable from 3 - 100 m total head). If the pressure drops to less than 10 m total head the unit will automatically start functioning until a counter pressure has been reestablished. The DESM priming ejec-tor is available in sizes 1/2” or 1”. Ejectors can be supplied with one or two solenoid valves. Depend-ing on the specific task.
