Apple Menu > System Preferences > Language & Text

Click Input Sources tab

Click the radio button forKeyboard & Character Viewer

This adds a Character Palette icon in the right side of your menu bar.

Place your cursor in some text in Photoshop.

Click on the Character Palette icon in the menu bar.

Locate the special character you want.

Double-click on it to insert it into your Photoshop text (or click the Insert button.)
