Lifelike and playful, our rough-and-tumble

cowboy bed suits bedrooms and playrooms. Kids

will be kids, and they’ll be able to bump, tug, and

climb to their hearts’ content.

Urban living limits space, but it doesn’t have

to limit a child’s world. Our unique castle and

spaceship beds make the most of small bedrooms.

The folding mattress can be tucked away during

the day, revealing extra room for tea parties,

pillow fights and creative play.

can also be discretely folded away between visits.

Designed for Small Spaces Our beds optimize small spaces and are perfect for condo living. Each incorporates extra storage and

shelving in whimsical ways. Toddler and twin beds feature unique shelved headboards that easily and

efficiently store toys, books and other treasures.

Ideal when space is a premium, our castle beds offers a ‘drawbridge’ mattress. When closed, the room can

be used for play or other purposes. This allows clients to provide a one-of-a-kind environment for children

and grandchildren, even with limited space.

DetailingLove lies in these details.

Each bed is accented with high

quality materials and intricate

details. Accents include:

genuine leather, cast iron,

water-jet cut steel, custom

electro-plated fixtures, rugged

clavos, laminate surfaces,

woodgrain and stone-like

textures, as well as exterior

sign grade image panels. These

textures, colors and patterns

belong in a room replete with

the other careful details you

create for your client.

Finishes/ColorsWe use non-toxic, low VOC

coatings to create our effects and

for a durable, smooth finish on

surfaces prone to wear. Finishes

are hand applied; our designer

melds multiple layers of paint

together, creating an authentic

texture unique to Fable Bedworks.

While we don’t offer custom colors

on our theme beds, our toddler and

twin beds are available in any color

of your choosing.

LightingLow voltage (12V) powered LED lights

provide safe, low heat illumination for

accent and reading lights.

SizesMost of our designs fit standard

twin mattresses (39” x 75”). Our

toddler bed fits a standard crib

mattress (27” x 52”). We may

be able to accommodate special

requests for different sizes.

Structure Quality Our beds are expertly handcrafted, and their solid

construction won’t weaken over time. We only

use strong, precision-cut, cabinet-grade plywood.

Castle tower doors and panels are thermoformed

PVC for lightweight flexibility that won’t crack or

bend if bumped.

SafetyOur beds are designed to minimize catch

points or other hazards. Objects that could be

misused are configured to ‘break-away’ under

load and can be reset later. Connectors and

mechanisms are high quality materials for

years of service.

InstallationOur beds are shipped in pieces and need to be installed on arrival. We provide instructions and

can help arrange assistance. Installation is simple but requires two people.

• Innovative tower design with 5 shelves each for plenty of storage. Integrated leveling foot on each

tower creates sturdiness and accommodates uneven floors.

elaborate designs, and

cowboy/cowgirl. It is

crafted from real wood -

with rounded edges for

safety - and has shelving

built as the footrest and

seat to store all of the

necessary supplies for

making the trek out West!

As primary designer at Fable Bedworks, Doug Robinson oversees the team of

professionals who assemble his whimsical works. Doug refined his attention to

detail through 20 years spent in operations management roles in manufacturing

and technology. He brings this understanding of true quality to his life’s passion –

creating timeless pieces that are treasured and inspiring. His boundless imagination,

coupled with an intimate knowledge of the practicalities of constructing durable,

strong and safe products, is apparent in every theme bed he creates.
