To Whom it may concern
Good day.
My name is Juan Preuyt. I am a 29 year old male.
I have designed my very own Freelance website www.newperspectivestudio.co.za . It includes some of my work, website designs, logos, print media and business cards. It is also a good attribution to my marketing and search engine optimisation skills, as the website is only 5 months old and i rank on the first page of google for four competitive keyword queries passing some well-established East London based design agencies like openform and aidah.
It is still in progress and has not been made from any template every bit was coded and designed from scratch.
I myself run the social media marketing, search engine optimisation and handle the clients graphic and web design. I also unlike standard graphic designers have development abilities in that i can create functionality and visual appeal in a website. They call us full stack designers.
I am stretched a thus i have not updated my website to its fullest potential.
I believe it to a be a testimony to the fact that i know the inner workings of web development instead of just copy and pasting into a template which seems to be the reason for the decline in quality of websites today.
I can provide you with a more detailed cv and have an excellent track record as a employee unfortunately in other fields. Incl Pneumatics, supervising and analysing production data.
A list of what i am experienced in within this field ( with included examples within my portfolio of my website:

MATERIAL MANAGEMENT
• Ensuring scrap (sweepings, non conforming products) do not exceed 1,4% of total production for that shift. • Checking production rate and enduring your shift has enough raw materials to carry through into the next shift. • Managing regrind back into system as to reduce material wastage. · Ensuring material is correct type and of a high standard and quality before usage as difference materials are required for different products.
SETTING MACHINES • Due to varying ambient temperatures different products and materials the machines needed constant setting which included:- • Timers, e.g. (exhaust timing, mould close time, pre blow timing, delay trimmers, delay cutting, blow pin, down/up timing, mould closing/opening timing and many more depending on the machines. 0,03 of a second on a timer could mean the difference between a successfully moulded product or scrap. · Understanding the process by which the machine runs so that you could track a problem faster.Fault finding • Assessing what timers could create which problems (multiple timers could solve a single issue & alternatively one timer would effect a process down the line.
• Setting Parrisons for swaying o Setting Deflashers to 0,4mm gaps to not damage bottle during trimming.
• Parrison lengths to reduce offcut size (less scrap) o Shot size settings (how much material for each cycle) o Weight Adjustments (to fit spec)
• Checking blades, cutting bushes, deflashers, moulds, and replacing as they wear down)
• All of these affect your cycle time and ensuring your cycle time would produce enough product to meet your target effectively was key.
ADMINISTRATION • Completion of PPTP Modules • Hourly sign off on QC checklist to ensure product is within spec. • Non confirming products to be recorded and explanation given
as to why it was out of spec. • How the problem was resolved and what was done with the
stock • Production tally – ensuring your eff is running at 80% and
upwards · Lost time log. All breakdowns or stoppages on machine were recorded including what the problem was, how it was fixed, how much time was lost, spares used and if they needed replacing.
• Completion of weekly maintenance check sheets. • Shift handover. Entailed recording all problems on shift
presenting it to the next setter and explaining how you resolved the issues on that shift.
• Housekeeping checklist. Ensuring all housekeeping procedures are followed to prevent contamination of materials.
• Updating mould maintenance cards • Placing requests for spares when running low.
ELECTRONICS • Replacing servo motors • Fault finding on heater bands through tester. • Re-wiring heater band couplings to correct places on the board. • Replacing thermo couplings that give incorrect heat readings. • Faulty signal plugs • Replacing times (manual) on boards • Replacing breakers and ensuring correct ampage • Replacing transducers as possible faults
PNEUMATICS (BREAKDOWNS) • Basic fiesto fittings and pipe replacements • Replacement of broken cylinders • Opening cylinders to check for worn seals, leaks, on pressure
issues • Replacement of pneumatic valves • Adjusting pressure to cylinders and prevent wear and tear • Replacing, cleaning exhausts in the case of back pressure
• Fault finding on valves, checking to see if it is receiving signal to switch over,if valve is sticking (wax build up) or if valve is worn or broken.if valves solenoid is functioning
• Finding blockages in line when pressure changes • Checking main air line and compressor for correct pressures • Reading of pneumatic drawings for faster fault finding • Reporting any leaks in the enclosed system circuit. Worked
mostly with 2 way and 3 way pneumatic valves also flow control valves.
• Repairs of one way cylinders and two way double acting cylinders
• Worked with an accumulator to assist with pressure for quick closing moulds.
HYDRAULICS
• Replacing worn pipe fittings • Fixing worn seals in cylinders • Repairing couplings in hydraulic motors • Dealing with valve issues (flow control, directional) • Cooling tank repairs, temp maintenance on oil • Fault finding (signal) loss, leaks, blockages) • Dealing with different types of cylinders and valves.
STAFF SUPERVISION • Ensuring the correct number of staff per shift linked to the
number of machines running on that shift. • Resolving issues between staff • Delegating responsibilities to shift staff per machine o Which
packer packs on machines o Which staff member will maintain housekeeping o Which staff member will trim product if needed o Delegating according to staff strengths & building the team
• Ensuring staff safety issues and reports are completed • Ensuring staff have PPE, on the floor • Ensuring staff have correct packing bags, labels for tracilibility
purposes • Cleaning equipment for the relevant products being run • Managing schedules and staff breaks / leave • Ensuring relief operators are present during these times • Recording staff overtime with explanations • Acting as a liaison between manger and staff for all work related
issued not resolved
