UCD Approach User-centered design is an approach to interactive system development that focuses specifically on making systems usable. It is a multidisciplinary activity.

User-Centered Design can be broken into three main phases:

- Discover Vision, goals, objectives User analysis (Persona) Task analysis Information architecture analysis

- Design Navigation design Storyboards, wireframes Interface design Color, style, graphics, fonts Style guide

- Decide Design walkthroughs Heuristic evaluations Guidelines reviews Usability testing: low fidelity through high fidelity; informal through formal
