From the attached profile, it is clear that my experience lies in the field of Mechanical Design and Management. However: I have expertise in other fields as well:

Team Co-0rdinations – encouraging the highest level of competence from co-workers and subordinates.I am a very practical person, able to think on my feet and solve problems.

Objective driven – in managing people I am able, not only to define the objectives for all, but to extract the best attributes of individuals so as to gain the highest productivity.

Columnist"Innovators Column” for the Engineering News. With RDP in mind, this column assisted Innovators to introduce their products to the business community at large. It ran for more than two and a half years and assisted 120 individuals out of a total of more than 400 submissions.

Committee memberSouth African Institute of Mechanical Engineers Sub Committee on Design. Here I was instrumental in proposing and assisting in the start up of the Design Coordination Group.

Consultant to the “Small Business Development Cooperation” on the business benefits of good design.

TV

Wrote the scripts and presented a 6 part TV series on design and its benefits, shown on SABC TV and sponsored by the SBDC.

Trade Union Liaison Worked as liaison between Trade Unions and Denel during the reconstruction and privatisation of the Denel group.
