Energy Storage System provides proportional reactive power when the voltage at point of interconnection deviates outside a defined dead band.
Energy Storage System is used to mitigate massive frequency deviation and helps in stabilising the grid.
In the event of sudden loss of power, a synchronous Energy Storage System responds to grid signal by dispatching power for a short duration.
Energy Storage System is used at local nodal points that are typically congested due to weak grid infrastructure. Hence, with ESS, the transmission network is optimally used.
Energy Storage System is used instead of a diesel generator to bring the grid online from a blackout event.
Energy Storage System caters to the peak load, thereby deferring costly investment required for T&D upgrades.

Renewable sources of generation, especially solar and wind, are intermittent in nature. When connected to an existing infrastructure, they create problems such as power and voltage fluctuations, transmission and distribution congestion, excess generation during peak hours and high ramping situations. Energy Storage System (ESS) when designed and implemented at various levels of grid and off-grid locations can mitigate these problems and make the grid reliable and stable.
Solar, Wind Energy and DG can be effectively combined and connected to Grid to provide reliable and stable power to cater the load. Solar and wind energies vary with time and energy storage is usually necessary to adapt the time of energy conversion with the demand profile. In case of power outage and non-availability of grid, the entire grid system can run on island mode and create a micro-grid for that particular location.

The system is integrated with solar charge controller, AC-DC charger, lithium ion battery with advanced BMS, pure sine wave inverter with UPS function and other control circuits. Importantly, the inner components are highly compatible with each other, store the energy generated from solar panels, or when utility rates are low, and power your premise in the evening. The product lowers your electricity bill and you can avail the benefit of net metering. Meanwhile, the system offers independence from the utility grid and security of an emergency backup.
• Power from ESS can be used as backup power source for normal load and as UPS for critical load, in the event of power outage.
• Power stored during off-peak, late night hours in the ESS is discharged during daytime peak demand, effectively shifting the peak demand.
