DESIGN CONCEPT OF ROMAI-PART IN BUDAPEST

FOR COMMUNITY AND URBAN PLANNING WORKSHOP

SITE PLAN

In our project, we would like to highlight a few basic ideas that would help link our concept into a single whole. Our team made a unanimousdecision to preserve as much landscaping as possible on our chosen site, and the following steps were taken in view of this. We have selectedthe border of the site, which you can see on the site plan.

Since, this beach is for three categories of people:

Locals, tourists and rowers.

CONCEPT DESIGN

The main idea of our project was considered tobe a long bench, which would help to unitethe territory of the selected site and organize asingle composition. The seat is a long,winding line with various height differences inthe form of arches and small Islands, whichare supposed to be located in small mobilepavilions with drinks, snacks, tourist souvenirsand other services. Also repeats the terrain itself.The bench will preserve the existinglandscaping and create a general composition ofthe master plan. The bench forms thespace and dictates the conditions for creating arope park. Thus, the trees create a space foractive recreation of beach visitors, whilepreserving all the existing landscaping of the site.Thus, the natural area is a multifunctional space,highlighting such aspects as environmentalfriendliness, urbanism, etc.

Thus, there are several functionalareas of the beach: recreational,social and business, entertainment,sports and transit.

● changing cabins,

● toilets, including for mothers

and children,

● showers for beach visitors,

● service center for bicycles,

● BBQ area,

● volleyball court,

● rope park that will be located

along the trees, as well as

parking for visitors.

The main dominant of the project was the

creation of the so-called ship, which

combines several different functions, such

as a recreational area, a children's area,an entertainment area, and so on.

pavilion for rowers and water-

sports athletes, where they

can have a rest after their

activities.
