In this narrative descriptive essay I would like to tell you about my favorite object. It is one of the most important objects in my room and it is my basketball that i spend almost my entire free time using. It is a Sparding leather indoor basketball and made in United State in 2009 with the year of Los Angeles Lakers won the National Basketball Association (NBA) champion in the finals with Orlando Magic. I have never left him alone when I watch the NBA basketball game in front of TV. As a return, he shares my happiness, sadness, excitement during all the time i watch basketball game alone and play basketball with friends. This basketball is colored a distinctive NBA-heritage orange tone. He has black grid surround at the ball and meet at the very end of each site of the ball. The superior black grid is like a dark string that tied the ball tight with a skinnier end on the bottom. The grip on the end though is rubber and feels like a softened tire on a car. He has interesting designs that makes it the best indoor basketball and has been the official game ball of the NBA since 1983. His design features a full-grain leather cover that provides me a exceptional feel and touch. When i touch him, i can simply feel his built quality and playability. He may feel slick at the first few times i first played on it, but he has getting better and better after i have break in him, as in simply done best by playing with him as much as possible. The feeling of touching him is going more and more familiar after time pass and he is just as feel as a part of my hand. Just like how the man in the logo holds his basketball. He will be my joined body parts, that was my first dream after i got my Sparding. He is shaped like a normal ball when you blow him up and shaped like a flat ball when he is empty with air. The process of changing air is always faster than normal basketball due to his unique design and built technology, which always makes me the first one to blow up my ball and start my training in the school basketball court. The exact measurement of him is 10 x 8 x 7 inches and he is the perfect match of my hands, just like he is made just for me. Due to the genuine leather material, the temperature of the ball is always maintain as constant. I have tried once before when I was playing a three on three basketball game in Penang under the hot sun, he performed extremely outstanding than others. He was able to maintain the same feel on my hand, as the temperature did not affected even he has been bounced frequently on the burning road surface during the game. He could managed to remain my feeling on it even it is heavy rain. He could be dry really fast and able to stick on my fingers. He had a sexy sound also, especially when I bounced him on a indoor basketball court. Most of the time he sounds like the music bass which like the restoring spring force when apply to Hooke's Law. He had always been my best TV friend and i can hear his heavyhearted sound when i was sad, whereas the gay sound when i was happy. I will always remember how great he sounds like when it vibrates in my hands when I bounce the ball. He is not weight as how he looks like with his brown-orange color design. With his weight, it was the superior match as what I expect for a basketball when I played, bounced, shoot, carried, traveled, and even hold him when I watch TV. The every moment i shoot the ball, he has the balance between gravity weight and turning circulation to produce the beautiful shooting curve before he reach the basketball ring. After the first month living together with my Sparding, I bought a leather shoes protection spray and some leather conditioner. Since that, I had never fail to rub it with a rag and let it dry after every heavy basketball training. Nothing comes close to it with the leather smell. The function of my Sparding was not only act as a basketball, he can be a fantastic true friend. He has always been my side when i need him. He has never fail to understand my feeling when we watched NBA games. The most important thing, every time when he bounced back in my hands, I can feel the excitement in him. Now, he has been leaving at the corner of my room after my serious knee operation and always waiting me to pick him up and back to his batter field. But sadly, I just cannot.
