• Promote a better understanding of diseases and dysfunctions of the human nervous system, both psychiatric and behavioral, by effectively educating students of medicine and other health and behavioral sciences at the undergraduate and graduate levels

• Pursue clinical and basic research in psychiatry and behavioral science resulting in a pivotal move to a new and higher plateau of knowledge and funding that will result in a better understanding of the neuroscience of the brain
