AGENCY: Research and Special ProgramsAdministration, D.O.T.ACTION: Notice of actions on exemptionapplications.

SUMMARY: In accordance with theprocedures governing the application

for, and the processing of, exemptionsfrom the Department of Transportation’sHazardous Materials Regulations (49CFR part 107, Subpart B), notice ishereby given of the actions onexemption applications in January–December 2001. The modes oftransportation involved are identified bya number in the ‘‘Nature ofApplication’’ portion of the table belowas follows: 1—Motor vehicle, 2—Railfreight, 3—Cargo vessel, 4—Cargoaircraft only, 5—Passenger-carrying

aircraft. Application numbers prefixedby the letters EE represent applicationsfor Emergency Exemptions. It should benoted that some of the sections citedwere those in effect at the time certainemployees were issued.
