2004/05•The DoT allocated R300 000 for the revision of TMH 1.

•There was a breakdown in communication between Dot, MTC and SANRAL which led to the money not being secured in time before the end of the financial year.

•A meeting will be scheduled between the DoT and the RMC to resolve this matter and get the project started.

2005/06•TMH 1: Standard Methods of Testing Road Construction Materials.

•TRH 20: The Structural Design, Construction and Maintenance of Unpaved Roads.

•The department has allocated R700 000 for both projects.

•This plan is based on current funding levels and should change with increased funding or contributions from other stakeholders.

•We are currently converting the TRH series into digital format. The challenge we facing is that we have very bad copies so we are unable to scan most of the diagrams.

•We appeal to those who have good copies and/or diagrams in digital format to please assist us.
