Date 23/08/2017 DEPARTMENT OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING Subject: Industrial Visit Report of 5 th semester(ME) at Neemarana, Alwar. (a) Held at Eicher Alwer, from 11:30AM to 01:30AM (b) ) Held at Koide Pvt. Ltd., from 3:40PM to 05:30PM Learning Objective: To have exposure of industrial processes and environment Detailed Activity: 1. Started from Poornima University by bus: (6:30AM onward) From early morning we gathered at porch of Poornima University and assembled in bus no. 23 with driver Ashok. After checking all necessary things for training and formalities our faculty coordinators allowed leaving Poornima University to head Alwar via Dausa, Badikui and Alwar. 2. Reporting and Visit at Eicher Alwar: (11:30AM to 01:30AM) During this event we had formal meeting and introduction with managers and engineers. After that we have discussed plan of visit and engineer Mr. Maharaj Singh is assigned by management for the visit. During visit various components manufacturing and assembly line of Tafe tractor engine visited. Major manufacturing processes were honing and cylinder finishing processes were here. 3. Vote of thanks to Eicher and heading towards Koide Pvt. Ltd (1:40PM to 03:30PM) In this session vote of thanks given by faculty coordinators and started moving towards Koide Pvt. Ltd. 4. Reporting and Visit Koide Pvt. Ltd (3:40PM to 05:30PM) A formal welcome done by the mangers of Koide Pvt. Ltd. After introduction, plan of visit is discussed. According to plan there was visit and during visit we had seen die of gear box and engine head of Maruti Suzuki. There was key manufacturing machine was Electric Discharge Machine and inspection section of quality control also visited. 5. Vote of thanks to Koide Pvt.
