Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) – Application for Installation of Tall Structure

1. Application schedule: 1-2 months

2. Application for approval is required if:

(i) Construction of structure/building of any height is located within 15km radius from the nearest

airport;

(ii) Structure/building height is 100m & above and located 15km away from the nearest airport

3. Approval is not required and Consultant shall write in to DCA to inform about the construction

only, if:

(i) Structure/building height is less than 100m and located 15km away from the nearest airport

4. List of necessary documents to be submitted (under 1 submission):

(i) Cover letter from consultant

(ii) Locality & site plan

(iii) Drawings showing details of the proposed tall structure installation

(iv) Filled form

(v) Any other supporting documents as requested by DCA

Note: The duration of obtaining approval depends on the availability of the official and the

completeness of submitted documents.
