Dr Yaya OthmanProtaper Gold – Why, how and is it for me?Dr Noor Ilyani Othman or better known as Dr Yaya Othman graduated from Otago University and has since then more than 10 years of clinical experience, Dr Yaya works as Head, Centre of Comprehensive Care Studies as well as Senior Endodontic Lectu-rer in Faculty of Dentistry, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Sungai Buloh. Dr Yaya’s area of expertise is in Endodontic Dentistry, with interest in Endodontic Biofilm & Microbio-logy, Surgical Endodontics, Regenerative Endodontics and Confocal Laser Scanning Microscopy. Dr Yaya is an active member for both local and international dental asso-ciation and one of the avid Dentsply Sirona Endodontic system users since 2006.

Dr Abhishek ParoliaEndodontic Simplified With Waveone Gold Dr Abhishek Parolia graduated from Manipal University and perused his masters in the field of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics at the same university. He was awarded a gold medal in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics. He has been very active in practicing Endodontics for more than 10 years and has a vast experience of rotary endodontics and retreatment cases. . He is also actively involved in research and received Research Incentive Award in 2010 and 2011 from Manipal University and Marquis Award (USA) in 2011. He received an award for his significant contribution as a newcomer in 2011. He was also awarded for his Invaluable contribution in leading ICDAS initiative in 2014, E-learning Innovation Award (Team category) in 2016 from International Medical University, Malaysia. He was awarded the Best faculty pre-sentation (ERG) in International Association of Dental Research (IADR) held in San Francisco, USA, 2017. He has also been selected as a reviewer for Cariology Research, International Association of Dental Research (IADR)/PER, 2017-2018 and nominated for the secretary post, 2018-2019 and vice president post, 2019-2020 IADR Cariology group. He is a member of ICDAS National Benchmark Group, Malaysia. He has publis-hed more than 50 scientific papers in national and international peer-reviewed jour-nals and authored chapters “Diagnosis in Endodontics” in the book entitled Essentials of Endodontics, Quintessence India and “Propolis and its implications in oral health” He has conducted workshops and lectured locally and internationally at many count-ries namely India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Dubai, Brazil, Australia and Canada.

Dr Haikal HalilAnterior-Posterior Composite; A Voyage to FinesseCapt (R) Dr Haikal Halil is an Assistant Professor of Department of Restorative Dentistry at Kulliyyah of Dentistry, International Islamic University Malaysia. He has completed his Masters in Clinical Dentistry in Restorative Dentistry in 2014 at University of Malaya. Capt (R) Dr Haikal Halil is an active member in both local and international dental associations. His major interest includes Endodontology, implantology and aesthetic dentistry. Capt (R) Dr Haikal Halil is an avid user of Dentsply dental products.

Dr Perlin LokeVeneer Workflow with CERECDr. Perlin Loke graduated from the University of Melbourne, Australia in 1993. He won the student award from the Australian Society of Periodontology (Victoria) for outstanding achievement in the Periodontology and served as a dental office in the periodontics department at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne.He became a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (FRACDS) in 2007 and an associate fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) in 2012.Dr. Perlin has special interests in all aspect of dental reconstruction and cosmetic make-over. Case Planning, smile design, correction of bite, bone grafting, gum sur-gery, dental implants are part of our normal routine.He is an avid CEREC user since 2012 and he was among the few first CEREC Train the Trainer Asia Meeting participants in Beinsheim, Germany in 2014. 

Dr Shalini KanagasingamProtaper Gold – Whats New?Shalini Kanagasingam is currently Senior Clinical Lecturer and Course Lead for the MSc Endodontology programme at the University of Central Lancashire, UK. She completed a Master of Clinical Dentistry in Endodontology with Distinction at King’s College London. She obtained the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Membership in Restorative Dentistry of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. She has also been ad-mitted as a Member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. She was previously Head of the Department of Operative Dentistry and Consultant Endodontist at the National University of Malaysia, training both undergraduate and postgraduate students in Restorative Dentistry and Endodontology. She is Past President of the Malaysian Endodontic Society and has served as Honorary Finan-cial Secretary as well as Honorary Publication Secretary of the Malaysian Dental Association. She is currently the secretary for the Ribble Section of the NorthWest branch of the British Dental Association.Her research interests include the use of Cone Beam CT in endodontics, evalua-tion of rotary file systems and tooth resorption. Shalini is currently pursuing a PhD in nanoparticles as endodontic antimicrobials under the direction of Professor Richard Welbury. She has contributed book chapters to Pitt Ford‘s Problems Based Learning in Endodontology (Blackwell Publishing Ltd, UK 2011), Principles of Endodontics (Ox-ford University Press, UK, 2013 and 2018) and CBCT in Endodontics (Quintessence, 2016). She has published in the Journal of Endodontics, International Endodontic Journal, Dental Update, Il Dentista Moderno, Ultrasonics Sonochemistry and the Journal of Forensic and Legal Medicine.

Dr Abu Razali Dr Abu Razali Saini graduated from University of Malaya, Malaysia in 1997. He is a general practitioner with a passion for aesthetic dentistry and dental photographyDr Abu has also conducted numerous lectures and hands-on workshops locally and internationally. He currently lectures on various topics related to both aesthetic dentistry and clinical photography.He became an avid CEREC user since the beginning of 2018 and is one of the first few general private practitioners who is using CEREC religiously in Malaysia. Cur-rently, he is doing CEREC cases actively in his practice involving single unit crowns, multiple unit bridge and also veneers.

Dr Aishah AfifahDr Aishah Afifah is a general practitioner who graduated from University of Malaya in 2015. With a strong interest in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, she is currently working as a dental associate under the mentoring of a renowned aesthetic dentist, Dr Abu Razali Saini. Under the influence of Dr Abu, she has been exposed to the CAD/CAM technology and aspires to become a master in the technology. Current-ly, she is actively doing CEREC cases in her practice involving single unit crowns and multiple unit bridge. She is progressively developing and updating her skills in CEREC to match the current demand in the technology.

Dr Ho Ting KheeDr Ho Ting Khee is a Lecturer and a Clinical Prosthodontist from Faculty of Dentis-try, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. She had completed her Masters in Clinical Dentistry (Fixed and Removable) in 2014 at University of Manchester. Dr Ho Ting Khee is an active member in both local and international dental associa-tions. Her major interest includes aesthetic dentistry, fixed and removable prostho-dontics and dental materials.

Dr Smita WadeDr Smita graduated from Nair Hospital Dental College, Mumbai in 2004 as BDS and started working as a Registrar in King Edward Memorial Hospital, Department of Dentistry in Mumbai. She worked in a private practice in Mumbai and has a good experience in Restorative, Endodontics and Oral surgery with more focus on Aest-hetic Dentistry. Dr Smita has been working with Dentsply Sirona Singapore Pte Ltd as product Manager for products such as CAD/CAM and Laser. She is an advocate of digital Dentistry and started conducting product trainings in Singapore and SEA countries for CAD/CAM and Laser. She is a certified trainer for CEREC, inLab, Laser, Digital Orthodontics and Integrated Implantology.She was invited as Keynote Speaker at 1st International Digital Dentistry Conference in India for CAD CAM dentistry.
