DEVICE SIGNAL TAG (DST) LICENSINGDST licensing is based on the number of inputs and outputs as follows: Analog Output Analog Input Discrete Output Discrete Input Generally speaking each instrument wired into a set of screw terminals will require 1 DST. When identifying the required DST licensing start with the P&ID and count the number and type of instruments.

DELTA-V SIMULATE SUITEDelta-V Simulate lets you use all Delta-V software for training and development without purchasing duplicate system hardware. Allows you to configure the Delta-V software suite on a single PC or in a multi-node system. Allows you to test and execute your system configuration and OPC interfaces, execute batch and continuous control Allows you to easily coordinate and initialize control simulation and set control execution to be faster or slower than real time.

ASSET MANAGEMENT SOLUTION (AMS)The Delta-V / Asset Management Solution (AMS) provide the capability to configure, calibrate, monitor and troubleshoot intelligent field devices. NOTE: ALARMS WITH LOG PRIORITY WILL GENERATE AN EVENT IN THE EVENT SUMMARY RATHER THAN ALARM.

HARDWARE INSTALLATION

BUSSED FIELD POWER CONNECTOR DELTA-V I/O CARRIER IS INSTALLED ON TYPE T-DIN RAIL USING THE LATCHING SWITCH ON 2-WIDE POWER / CONTROLLER CARRIER 4 TERMINALS ARE PROVIDED FOR INPUT POWER i.e. FOR 12VDC & 24VDC ON EACH 8-WIDE I/O CARRIER TWO BUSSED FIELD POWER CONNECTORS ARE PROVIDED FOR POWERING THE FIELD DEVICES

BEVELED KEYS BEVELED KEYS ARE SUPPLIED WITH THE TWO-PART CONNECTOR ON THE HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL CARRIER TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE CARDS

DELTA-V INSTALLATION INSERT THE DELTA-V SOFTWARE CD-ROM #1 IN TO THE CDROM DRIVE SELECT INSTALL DELTA-V V9.3 FROM THE SPLASH SCREEN OR OPEN WINDOWS EXPLORER, SELECT THE CD DRIVE AND BROWSE FOR SETUP.EXE ON THE ROOT DIRECTORY OF THE CD AND DOUBLE CLICK IT.

DELTA-V INSTALLATION (CONT.) SELECT OK WHEN PROMPTED TO INSTALL THE .NET FRAMEWORK 1.1. AFTER THE REBOOT LOG BACK ON AND CONTINUE WITH THE DELTA-V INSTALLATION
