1. Children’s Day Celebration
Children's Day is celebrated across India to increase awareness of the rights, care
and education of children. It is celebrated on 14 November every year as a tribute to
India's First Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru. Fondly known as Chacha Nehru among
children, he advocated for children to have fulfilled education. On this day, a Special
Assembly was conducted and children were made aware of its importance. A butterfly
cutout was given to the children they attached it to the pencil and was given as a gift
with chocolates.
2. Our Community helpers
This activity helped the learners to appreciate the jobs that different people do.
The learners dressed up as different professionals and spoke to the class about their
profession. In the process they also build stage competence and enhance their
language skills.

The children curiously heard the story and went through the adventurous life of the
little boy and how the magician created the mess and helped him too, to come out of
the mess.

SPECIAL ASSEMBLY
The World is a Stage
It’s that time of the year when children gear up to adorn different caps and perform
various roles suitable to their mentality and interest. They get to play the roles which
will be cherished by them for years to come.
During the annual function rehearsals it is my observation which gives me an insight
into the different facets of a child’s personality. How beautifully the transcend into
the chair of a director, writes script with ease, paints the best strokes for the props,
exhibits technical talent through the amazing e-invites. There is a make-up artist,
costume designer and above all a stage layout expert who knows what is to be placed
where on the stage. Oh! What a humongous responsibility these little shoulders bear.
Their commitment and sincerity is worth learning from. We always undermine what
children can achieve but as a Principal I have immense faith, trust and confidence in
my children. The evening rehearsals were tiresome for many but the enthusiasm and
the spirit displayed by the children was enough to infuse energy in all of us to put
together. The Annual Function of all the classes provided opportunities to the
children and yes they did cease the opportunity to bring out their best. As a Principal
I am grateful, and my heart swells with pride after having witnessed such brilliant
performances in terms of acting, dancing and oratory skills.
Well done my children. May God bless you to take you to the field of your choice and
may you all excel in whatever you do.
