Collect the weather data (highest temp,lowest tepm,rainfall) from a newspaper daily for the period 0f 15th April to 15 th June. Calculate the range of temp by subtracting the lowest temp. from the highest temp. Record the data in a tabular form as per the sample provided. Draw BAR GRAPH to show the rainfall and LINE GRAPH to show the range of temperature.  Recording table and the graphic representations should be separate for the two months.

Project # 1

Take 5 (five) Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG’s) of your choice. Conduct detailed survey to find their user-group, price (M.R.P.) and their nature of advertisement. Present your answer in the form of a project report.

Note:

Biscuits, Snacks (chips, bhujiya etc.), chocolates, ice-creams, cheese, butter, soft-drinks, soaps, shampoos etc. are examples of FMCG. You are free to take any brand from any product group. But please do not take all brands from a particular product category, do not take, say five brands of soaps.

Instructions

1. The project report should be submitted in the form of a project-file, in an inter-leaf project file. The project file should be covered with brown paper with your name, class, section, roll number, subject and project number (1, 2 etc.) clearly written on it.

2. The project should not ideally exceed 1500 words, subject to a

minimum threshold word limit of 600; excluding – off course – your personal particulars. So the effective word limit is 600 – 1500.

3. You are encouraged to paste images, charts and diagrams relevant to your project. You may also paste photos available over the Internet.

b) Conduct a survey of around 30 who use different modes of transport and gather information regarding their opinion about the public transport services. (Prepare a questionnaire beforehand.)

1. The questionnaire has to contain at least 30 (thirty) questions excluding personal particulars of the respondent. Questions will be a mixture of subjective, objective and MCQ types.

2. You must survey 30 individuals. (Hint: you may ask your neighbours and members of your family.)

3. The questionnaires are to be included with the project.
