The University of Delaware Army ROTC Instructor Group conducts recruiting, retention, training, and leader development in order to commission U.S. Army Officers that are prepared to lead Soldiers in support of and defense of our nation.

NURSE SUMMER TRAINING PROGRAM
• Three-week, 120 hour clinical rotation in an Army Hospital.
• Cadet works one-on-one with an Army Nurse preceptor.
• Gain valuable clinical and leadership skills along with an initial orientation to the U.S. Army Medical Department (AMEDD).
• Earn credits with Nursing Department

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
• ALL SCHOLARSHIPS PAY:
• Full Tuition
• Book Allowance of $1200 per Year
• Monthly Stipend of $300 to $500 tax free
• High school scholarship winners MUST pass APFT in order to validate and contract!!!
•Scholarships available at all levels, including 2, 3, or 4 years, undergraduate and graduate
• Nurse Scholarships available for qualified applicants
• May apply for a scholarship as a high school senior or while on campus

HOW DO CADETS GET PAID?
• Direct deposit: SF1199 from their bank• Room and board deposits and fees must be
paid by Cadet– Room and board incentive program
• 45 day lag time for tuition and book money– Tuition and fees paid directly to school– Book stipend sent once per semester in $600 allotment
• Stipend should begin during month of contracting

Wednesday 25 August 2010:• 1400 – 1800: Welcome Back Brief• 1800- UTC: Dorm Move In
Thursday 26 August 2010:• 0630 – 0830: Army Physical Fitness Test• 0900: First Formation and Breakfast• 0930 – 1200: Uniform Issue, Contracting Paperwork• 1200 – 1330: Lunch• 1330 – 1700: Drill and ceremonies training• 1700 – Dismissal
Friday 27 August 2010:• 0730: First Formation and Breakfast• 0800: Depart UD for Gunpowder Falls, MD• 0900 – 0930: Site Orientation, and Safety Brief• 0930 – 1700: Conduct Rappel, Obstacle Course, and FLRC• 1730: Depart for UD• 1900: Dismissal
