Defence Security Services was founded in 1996 in the United Kingdom. Following the success of our UK operation, we decided to open an overseas office. In 2009 we established Defence International Security Services in the Royal Kingdom of Thailand.

Our history of both military and civil policing contains more than twenty years of experience, knowledge and expertise in the security industry.

Through unrivalled quality, commercial security services to businesses operating in the public and private sectors, Defence International Security Services has achieved much success through building on its policy of integrity, credibility, and partnership with all of its clients and services.

Having started my working career in the British Army, I then joined the London Metropolitan Police working and training operational dogs. After more than 20 years service, I started Defence Security Services in 1996 providing security services throughout the UK.

Having travelled to Thailand for long periods of time, I noticed the security sector was under performing so I established Defence International Security Services to provide a much needed professional service and provide the only operational dog section in Thailand.

I believe in giving back to the community so I take an active approach in local matters and charity events, as I believe society benefits from good actions.

Safety and preparedness begin with selected men and women who have completed full training to UK standards and passed a written test before they can wear the Defence International Security Services’ uniform. However, training does not stop there; employees are constantly required to update their training as needs and circumstances change.

Our training programs are highly developed and professionally executed not only to educate, but also to motivate employees. All employees are certified by Defence International Security Services to perform first aid and CPR if required. All our operational personnel are provided with suitable equipment for their task, being dressed in tactical field operational uniform, and follow an exemplary dress code.
