Brookwood and Pirbright Children’s Centre is set in the village of Brookwood adjacent to the school. We run a large programme of activities for families with children 0-5 years. All of our sessions are fun, free and very friendly. We run a large Play and Learn group at the Jubilee Centre on a Monday morning 9.45-11.15am. There is always a host of craft activities, soft play, music and movement and a wonderful baby area too. We have a Dad Zone the rst Saturday of every month at the Children’s Centre this is for children aged 0-5 and their dads. We look forward to meeting you very soon – however in the meantime have a look at our new website:
Deepcut Community Football Club U16’s is currently looking for new players and goalkeepers to strengthen our existing squad for the new season. The club has
FA Chartered Standard status with FA qualified coaches and staff.

The club has great support from the local community and has a corporate sponsor in ISS Facilities who contribute to the club every year.

There have been some recent incidents of bike thefts from the married quarters, some points to consider:
Secure your bike correctly when not in use, buy a good quality lock such as a ‘D’ type shackle lock and ensure the cycle is xed by this method to an immoveable object, post, metal down pipe or similar.
When you go away do not leave it unattended in the back garden.
Most bike thefts occur at night when bikes are left unsecured either in full view at the front of the house or back garden.
Consider having your bicycle marked with a UV marker pens or registered with SBD Secured by Design synthetic DNA marking companies.
Report any suspicious sightings of people or vehicles immediately via the 101 number and in case of urgent calls to report a crime being committed then dial 999 DO NOT call RMP or UWO as this method will slow down the appropriate police response.
The Pirbright Welfare Oce has some personal safety alarms please call in if you would like to purchase one at a reduced price.

We are looking for volunteers to come along, to help set up and maintain a garden at the Community Centre. The aim is to be ready for spring 2013 with a purpose of injecting some colour into the Village with the added bonus of having a lovely hub to work our magic from. We have great blank canvas to work with at the moment. Please contact [email protected] to show interest.
