Columbia school of Veterinary Medicine in
1998. Post-graduation he joined a mixed
animal practice in northeast Missouri and
started practicing in Canton in November
of 1998. He and his wife, Rachel, own and
operate the Canton Veterinary Clinic. He is a
member of the American Veterinary Medical
Association (AVMA), American Association of
Bovine Practitioners (AABP), Society of
Theriogenology, Past President of the
Academy of Veterinary Consultants (AVC), a
member of the National Cattleman
Association, Missouri Cattleman Association,
and the Missouri Veterinary Medical
Association (MVMA). Goehl is also a partner in

net). On September 20, 2014, Dr. Goehl was
awarded the “Excellence in Preventative
Medicine-Beef Award” from the American
Association for Bovine Practitioners and is a
past president of the recipient of the
Academy of Veterinary Consultants,

Our primary food animal focus is cattle, working extensively with cow/calf and stocker and starter yards. Our focus is systems management/herd health but realize individual animal medicine is part of that equation. CVC can assist in development of herd plans, nutrition/feed tests/development of rations, pasture management, and production herd management.
