Product Description - AL-WS-BATH wall switch This switch operates just like any standard residential light switch – however it takes 24-50v DC instead of 120VAC, and directly drives up to 28 watts of LED bulbs plus a 12 watt fan. This Decorator style switch in a standard residential style outline fits into any home, looks like any switch yet meets NEC article 411 for Low Voltage lighting. The Fan can either be on together with the light, or have it’s own switch. Any single pole switch found at Home Depot can be used to add the Fan control. Or, you can use our AL-WS-FON product for humidity and occupancy sensing and fan timer. Connect 1 strings of from 1 to 4 LED’s of 660 mA each. Use AWG 16 or 18 to bring 48v ( or 24 to 50 volts ) from a central power supply over to the switches, then use AWG 18 or 20 to connect to your LEDs – no expensive tools are required to wire this device. A proven rocker switch and brightness slider leverages mass production of Decorator switches, now for low voltage applications – a casual user requires no training, no App to use this switch. Perfect, flicker free dimming from off to 5% to 100%. No network setup is required. The right output connects to a SLM70-LVDC or other DC Bathroom fan. Use AWG20 wire for this connection. The slide switch selects between Light+Fan together or Fan with it’s own switch. The white connector is available for use with our AL-WS-FON device for Humidity, Occupancy, Ambient light sensing with Fan timer and night light. Fan – Occupancy – Nightlight. FON.

Powering the AL-WS-BATH

Power the switch via the Power input connectors, 48 to 56v is recommended. You can feed from the input to the next switch up to 2 amps.

AL-WS-FON option To add these features to your AL-WS-Bath, use the FON product:

• Humidity controlled FAN

• Occupancy triggered Light

• Ambient light sensor to enable night light and disable automatic overhead light

• Fan switch – each press adds 5 minutes of time to the Fan

• Night light – adjustable brightness up to 1 watt. If set to 1 watt, the overhead light will not turn on when someone enters the room
