Trent River Cruises took over the operation of The Nottingham Crusader in 2014. We aim to keep the spirit of St John alive by providing year-round not-

for-profit sightseeing cruises to registered charities, nursing and

residential homes, disabled groups, youth groups and educational facilities.

The Nottingham Crusader was commissioned for the St John

Ambulance Water Wing and was specifically designed to be fully

accessible for wheelchairs. It is the only truly disabled friendly trip boat on the

River Trent that can carry large groups of up to 40 passengers.

St John Cruises run Monday - Friday, sailing at 10am and 2pm. Booking is

essential. The basic package is priced at £8.00 per person to cover

operational costs and includes a three hour cruise and self-serve tea and coffee. Passengers may bring their

own packed lunch or can upgrade to a package that includes food.

Coffee & CakeA selection of delicious cakes to

savour with freshly filtered coffee and English tea. Enjoy a mouth-

watering treat served to your table while you take in the sights along the

Afternoon TeaAn assortment of tasty sandwiches served to your table, followed by a giant cream cake, all washed down with plenty of hot English tea and

freshly filtered coffee. Relax and enjoy the views while the crew wait on your

Leisurely LunchChoose from Lasagne, Cottage Pie,

Chicken in White Wine Sauce or Roast Beef, followed by Chef’s own Apple

views from within our cosy centrally heated boat. Includes a warming bowl
