Happy Holidays LaMissTenn District Key Clubbers,

The Christmas holiday season is just beginning, and Santa will

be bringing presents to homes across the world very soon!

Unfortunately, some homes will not be on Santa’s radar this

year, and it is up to generous people to help less fortunate

families. Ask local churches, juvenile justice centers, shelters,

and charities if your Key Club can provide Christmas gifts for

families in need! Key Clubbers always enjoy shopping for

presents and wrapping gifts!

Providing Christmas presents for the less fortunate is not the

only way you can be a Secret Santa this year. Your Key Club

can spend time with the elderly during the holiday season

and deliver Christmas cards to local nursing homes. You can

also start a “Pay It Forward” movement in the community.

No matter how you choose to give, serve others with a joyful

heart!

In this issue of Keeping Tabs, you will find a variety of service

project ideas and important information about the district

scholarship!

Please let your lieutenant governor or me know if you have

any questions or if we can provide any assistance to you

and your club. Merry Christmas! Yours in Service,

Tabitha Kearns

How to Submit Eliminate Funds One of the most popular FAQs is “Where do I

send my Eliminate Project funds?”

Key Club is a Service Leadership Program,

SLP, club. You can make online donations

using this SLP giving form, or you can print this

giving form and mail your donations.

Funds raised at divisional rallies for The

Eliminate Project can be mailed by check to

the LaMissTenn District Office with the memo

“Key Club Divisional Rally Eliminate Funds”.

District Board Happenings

The LaMissTenn District board recently

met in Natchez, Mississippi, for our

November Board Meeting.

During the weekend, we planned a new

course of action for committees, filmed

a New Officer Training promotional

video, and continued planning for New

Officer Training and District Convention.

pictured to the left-The board dressed in

costumes that relate to the 2015 New

Officer Training theme, “Service…A

Game for Life”, for the promotional

video. The video will be released in

January, so be sure to check it out to

see what’s so different about this year’s

training!

approaching, the district board had a

celebration of all the work that was

accomplished over the weekend!
