mony described by Isaiah and Paul.

ourselves, our immediate response tends

to be defensive. John the Baptist reminds

us that change—ongoing repentance—is

critical for living in the “kingdom of

heaven”.

The Council’s Christmas Party is scheduled for 17 December

after the 5 PM Mass. It will be held at a restaurant in Lompoc

and the cost will be $15 per person attending. Space is limited

Did you know? Pokémon Go stops could lead kids to dangerous places. With the

popular game Pokémon Go, kids can interact with virtual game

components in real-life locations. Some features of the game can

present serious dangers for children using the app and interacting

with other gamers. “PokéStops” – locations in which players can

collect Pokémon – can be anywhere, and recently, one was report-

ed to be at the entrance of a rehabilitation center that housed sex

offenders. Parents should be aware of the game’s features and

monitor children’s use to ensure that any Pokémon collecting is

¿Sabia Usted? Las paradas de Pokémon Go pueden llevar a los niños a

lugares peligrosos. Con el juego popular Pokémon Go, los

niños pueden interactuar con componentes del juego virtu-

al en lugares reales. Algunas características del juego

pueden presentar serios peligros para los niños cuando

usan la aplicación e interactúan con otros jugadores. Las

paradas o “PokéStops”, o lugares en los que los jugadores

recogen los Pokémon, pueden estar en cualquier lugar, y

recientemente se reportó que uno estaba a la entrada de un

centro de rehabilitación donde habitaban ofensores sex-

uales. Los padres de familia deben estar conscientes de las

características del juego y monitorear el uso por parte de

sus hijos para asegurar que cualquier colecta de los Poké-

Novena para La Virgen De Guadalupe

Les hacemos la cordial invitación a

todos, vamos a empezar la novena pa-

ra la celebración de nuestra madre

María de Guadalupe. La novena se

empecía el 3 de diciembre y el tér-

mino cerca el día 11 de diciembre. El

Día 12 habrá una celebración, todos

están invitados!

El Rosario se empieza a las 7pm en la Iglesia, y

después de cada noche habrá un convivo en el

salón parroquial.

Misa Diaria Seria edificante ver a cada familia venir a la Misa diaria a

menos una vez por semana aparte del sábado en la tarde o el

domingo. Por favor animen a nuestra juventud a venir a Misa

daría y si no esta trabajando de un buen ejemplo y

venga con ellos. En estos día participando en la Mi-

sa diaria y recibiendo la Santa Comunión. La Misa

Diaria dura aproximadamente ½ hora. El Rosario se

reza 30 minutos antes de la misa durante la semana

(en inglés). Los invitamos a que nos acompañen.
