COMMUNITY OUTREACH CHRISTMAS EVE MEALS

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Christmas Eve meal program this year. It was an amazing experience!!

VATICAN II DOCUMENTS: Sr. Emily will present a six session course on the Documents of Vatican II on Thursdays, beginning January 20, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. at Christ the King. Texts for the course are: Documents of Vatican II and A Concise Guide to the Documents of Vatican II by Edward P. Hahnenberg. Both books can be ordered new or used. Please sign up in the back of church by January 16, 2011.

WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO AT MASS: In the coming year we will be preparing to receive the New Roman Missal. Our best preparation will be an increased understanding of the Mass. Fr. Bob Tucker, SCJ, will present a workshop “Why We Do What We Do At Mass” on Saturday, January 15 at Holy Spirit, Hernando, from 9:30 a.m. - noon.
