Lottie Moon Christmas Offeringfor International Missions
Every Church. Every Nation. It’s more than a catch phrase. It’s at thecore of what we do. We believe every church—and every churchmember—has a critical role to play in bringing the gospel to theworld. Your church’s participation in the Lottie Moon Christmas
Offering is a key part of that.
Your Gifts Transform Lives. Because you and your church give to theLottie Moon Christmas Offering, IMB missionaries can take the
gospel to unreached peoples around the world. Every dollar you givemakes a difference, because 100% of the money collected goes to
the work of reaching every nation.
Prayer guides and designated offering envelopes for this year’soffering will be included in the December 2 bulletin.

From Our PastorDear church family,
Let me be the first to wish you a Merry Christmas.Christmas at United Love Baptist Church is alwaysa beautiful time of year. The church is alwaysdressed up beautifully and our worship is rich inthe telling of the Christmas story. I hope you areplanning on being here and inviting your familyand friends to all come and worship with us. Thisyear there will be lots of music with the PiedmontSinging Men coming on December 2 and our ownpraise team and choir who are ready with theirChristmas music. I also have some different typesof music planned to go with the sermons that youdon’t want to miss. The message will be theChristmas story and how it relates to our lives.Christmas will begin on Sunday, November 25 andwe will end it on Sunday, December 30 with theLord’s Supper.
There are so many other things that will be takingplace during December at United Love BaptistChurch. I can’t wait for all the festivities to begin.Worship filled with music, scriptures, and joy. Iknow you don’t want to miss a single Sunday. Itwas recorded in the scriptures that Jesus wasborn in a manger because there was no room forHim in the inn. I hope you will not go this yearwithout room for Him. If you do, you will miss themain part of Christmas. It will be great for us tocome together and worship Jesus our Lordtogether. This will be a Christmas for all ages.
Merry Christmas!

From Our Youth MinisterThis Christmas season, we are trying somethingwe’ve not done before! We are having what
we’re calling an “Interactive Polar ExpressMovie Night.” What this means is we will beshowing the movie, The Polar Express, andduring certain scenes we will pause the movieand have some quick activities. For example, when the hot chocolate scene comes on the
screen, we will pause the movie and begin servinghot chocolate! There is another scene where the trainarrives at the North Pole and let’s just say some ofthose characters will come to life, too! Oh, and let’snot forget one of the most important characters inthe movie, the Conductor!
Families are encouraged to wear your PJs (Christmasthemed would be fun, but not required – we ask forPJs to be appropriate and kid friendly.) Churchmembers are being asked to display a yard sign topromote this event, so please see me if you areinterested. We have 25 to distribute.
We will begin serving a hot dog supper at 6:00 p.m. sothe movie and all the fun can begin at 6:30 p.m. Wehope you will invite your family and friends and comejoin the fun! This is a FREE event! Merry Christmas toyou all!
