Friday 22 nd December 2017 Dear Parents Count Down to Christmas…… Friday 15 th December 2017 Christmas Lunch and Jumper Day Amelie received the last Christmas Lunch – 300 children; 50 staff and 20 student teachers all enjoying Christmas Lunch! Thank you for sending in contributions for Christian Aid – we have raised approximately £300 for the charity. Monday 18 th December 2017 KS Christmas Carol Concert Thank you to all families who attended, this was our best ever attended event and was very special. Rev Critchley was especially impressed by the children and their delivery of the service and thanked the whole school community for choosing to share their celebrations at the Methodist Church. The whole community is invited to the Church on Christmas Eve from 10 am for Coffee and Mince Pies. The Methodist Church are responsible for the Poulton Angels – visit their facebook page for further information https://www.facebook.com/PLFMethodists/ Very well done to Year 6 who hosted the event beautifully, thank you to all KS2 classes for delivering such wonderful choral speaks. Friday 22nd December 2017 Rev Critchley – Guest Star at Wake and Shake Rev Critchley’s rendition of the “12 hours of Christmas” was so popular with the staff and children during the Carol Service that we invited him to Wake and Shake for a special performance.

Thank you to Paul and Graham for coming to school at 8.20 am this morning to surprise the children. Fylde Coast Teaching School Alliance SCITT Ofsted Outstanding I am delighted to advise our school community that our teacher training programme has been recognised by Ofsted as Outstanding. Fylde coast’s on-the-job teacher training programme handed top rating by Ofsted And Finally – Thank you On behalf of myself and all the staff thank you to everyone who has sent in well wishes, cards and gifts. We have all had a truly amazing start to this academic year and are looking forward to the Spring Term. Our most recent results have been published which are testament to all the hard work which takes place all the time in school. All the children and staff work incredibly hard and are continually praised and celebrated for their achievements. We hope you all have a very pleasant and peaceful Christmas holiday, school re-opens on Monday 8th January 2018 at 8.20 am for Wake and Shake, lessons commence at 8.50 am prompt.
