Also due to all your very generous contributions, our staff

Also, we are happy to have one of

glad to perform them!

adjustment to the regular lunch schedule to assure that the dining
room will be available for set-up for the party. All residents will
eat lunch during the early seating (11:30am to 1:00pm) on this
day. Don’t worry, more details to follow! Also, guests are
encouraged to be seated by 2:00pm for the party, as the beginning

FOOTHILL
COLLEGE
Winter Break
Residents did not have too many issues to bring up to
management in November the residents meeting! It seems that
many residents are quite content and satisfied living in our wonderful
community! As always, Palo Alto Commons has an open– door
policy whenever residents have any issues, concerns, or
recommendations to make their living experience better and/or
happier. The monthly residents meeting is a great opportunity for
residents to give ideas to the management. The December residents
meeting will take place on Monday, December 12, at 3:00pm, in the
dining room.
The December menu committee meeting will take place on
Thursday, December 8, at 2:00pm, in the hobby room. The members of
this committee meet with Sherry monthly to review the dining menus
and plan future menus. Residents have the opportunity to play such
an active part in the menu-planning process here at Palo Alto
Commons, so we encourage each of you to get involved if you would
like to make a difference in your dining experience! See you at the
meeting.
A registered dietician visits Palo Alto Commons on a monthly
basis. The dietician can meet with residents (by request) who have
questions about nutrition or diet. The date/time of the next dietician
visit will be announced soon. Please see Sherry if you are interested
in speaking with the dietician.
Foothill College will
begin its three-week winter break on December 16.
Classes will resume on
January 4, 2017!
Please note the changes
to the activity calendar during this time, and
come enjoy the
alternative programs!
