EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH

Vianey U. Congratulations to our Employee of the Month, Vianey U.! Vianey

is the Unit Coordinator at the Avant. She has been working at Palo

Alto Commons for 17 1/2 years, first in

Assisted Living and Meadow Wing

until moving to the Avant this year.

“I was not expecting it, but I am

honored with this recognition,” Vianey

says. Born in San Miguel Allende,

Mexico, she has been living in the Bay

Area for over 20 years. Vianey enjoys

reading, watching movies, going out

with friends, and outdoor activities,

such as walking, biking, and camping. She is also happy that, in addi-

tion to her husband and daughter, her siblings all live in the area as well.

“PAC is a great company with the best team of coworkers,” she adds.

“I love most to help residents with all their needs.” Charito Amoranto,

Vianey’s supervisor, describes her as “smart, caring, and always trying

hard to provide the best care and customer service to our residents and

families. She is such a wonderful role model for all staff!”

the perfect opportunity for residents, families, and staff members to

celebrate the holiday season together. Join us for delicious food

Also due to all your very generous contributions, our staff

appropriately address this sensitive area. Thank you so much to

the Holiday Gift Fund Committee Co-Chairs, residents Bob D. and

Jane W. for helping us to organize this wonderful annual tradition!

Also, we are happy to have one of

our favorite performers, Johnny

Fabulous (photo left), perform at the

party! Johnny is one of the Bay Area’s

finest musicians, and he performs at

many venues in the area. He will be

playing holiday music and creating a fun

& festive ambiance for our party!

Residents are also encouraged to request

their favorite songs, and Johnny will be

glad to perform them!

Please note that, on the party day, we are making an

adjustment to the regular lunch schedule to assure that the dining

room will be available for set-up for the party. All residents will

eat lunch during the early seating (11:30am to 1:00pm) on this

day. Don’t worry, more details to follow! Also, guests are

encouraged to be seated by 2:00pm for the party, as the beginning

portion of the party (beginning promptly at 2:00pm) will consist of

the Gift Fund Bonus presentations. We will also be announcing

the names of staff members who reached their 5-year, 10-year,

15-year, and even 20-year anniversaries at Palo Alto Commons this

year as well as presenting the 2016 Employee of the Year award.
