There is a Hamilton Beach 42 cup
urn missing from the kitchen that
was being used for tea.
Has someone borrowed it and not
returned it?
It has TEA written on the front of it.
Does anyone have a urn that they no longer use
at home? If so, we always welcome them into
our supplies.

Local pastor and family seeking house to rent:
Pastor Doug and Karen Van-deKamp (with boys age 9 and 6)
are looking for a rental home/fellowship centre--preferably a move-in-ready detached house
(south of the river, 3-plus bedrooms, 1100ish square feet plus basement) with good size backyard, central AC, as well as rec room and decent storage. Long-term agreement strongly preferred; can move in as
early as July 1 (August 1 start date preferred).
Any leads about houses, people with houses (perhaps investors thinking about buying one to rent out?), etc. would be very welcome (prayers too!). To provide info, or for more details, please contact them via [email protected] or by call/text
to 204.901.2681.

Lynne Sanderson Retirement
Lynne’s official retirement was
Sunday, June 24th in Gladstone.
They, Lynne & Wayne, will be residing in
Carman full time, and enjoying their
camper journeys as well as just
‘enjoying’!
From Trinity United Church we are wishing Wayne & Lynne
the best in their retirement!
Norm & Val Poersch came from that community, and went to celebrate the day with her.
Thanks to them for the pic!
Stewardship at Trinity With summer upon us, and many off on their vacation escapades,
the church always feels an impact on the collection plate at this time.
Bills still need to be paid so we ask you to consider making arrangements
to provide your usual monthly givings while you’re away.
Many thanks for your consideration!
Our ’Ailing’ & Aging Elevator
Our elevator has been on ‘break’ again <><
I contacted our busy Property Chair, Keith
Privat, in regards to the elevator, and he said
that this fix should not be that expensive. He
contacted the fellow he deals with at Brandon
Elevator and was told that they were going to
work very hard to have it running again by
Saturday <>< this week ~
fingers crossed with prayer!)
Maybe, we have ‘dodged the bullet’ again. This
elevator was installed at Trinity in 1997 & was
made in 1985. We do need to be seriously
considering a new elevator, one that is
dependable to help cover the needs of those who
need assistance with stairs, etc. There are
quotes being prepared and Nikki is searching for
some grants that may work for us.
Many thanks to all who are
making the best of this
elevator downtime!
A crow was sitting on a tree, doing nothing all day. A rabbit asked him,
"Can I also sit like you and do nothing all day long?" The crow answered: "Sure, why not."
So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the crow, and rested. A fox jumped on the rabbit and ate it.
Moral of the story: To be sitting and doing nothing,
you must be sitting very high up.
There are two seasons in Canada - winter and July.
Hence the celebrations on July 1st.

Little Laura Cliffe, only 99 years young, came home from the hospital on Saturday, June 23rd. She said she is being very careful and that everyone is being so good to her!! Our best wishes Laura!

Eh??
Paying attention each night helps us be more aware each day, more tuned in to what the Spirit might be showing us as we walk through our lives. With the Spirit’s help, we’re learning to walk in love (2 John 1:6).
Lord, let us not love just in words, but in actions and in truth.
Teach us to be obedient to Your call to love.
