World’s  Aids  Day  

•  This  is  observed  on  the  1st  of                                            December  every  year.  

•  Its  aim  is  to  raise  awareness  of                                                                        the  aids  pandemic  caused  by                                                                    the  spread  of  HIV  infec@on.  

•   it  also  aims  at  educa@ng  the  mass  about  AIDS,  the  false  concep@ons  about  it,  its  preven@on  and  its  control.  

•  In  1761,  Marie  Tussaud,  founder  of  the                            Madame  Tussaud’s  museum  of  wax                            figurines,  was  born.  

•  In  1963,  Nagaland  became                                                                  the  16th  state  of  India.  

•  In  1965,  India's  border  security  force  was  established.
