The TCF Pursuit: Engaging Aurora and Beyond
Jesus is SENDING You to Specific Places Acts 1:1-11
1. In the Power of the Holy Spirit Acts 1:8a “But you will receive power when Holy Spirit comes on you;…”
2. As His WITNESSES! Acts 1:8b “… and you will be my witnesses …”
3. Right here in Aurora and Beyond! Acts 1:8c “… in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Children’s movie and pizza night Saturday, September 19 in Room 200; 6 - 7 pm; during the Contemporary Worship Service.
Wednesday Bible Study 7 pm with Pastor Ed in the Sanctuary. Pastor Ed is sharing from 2 Peter.
Men’s Bible Study Group is studying Anchoredman. This Tuesday, September 15; 7 pm @ the church. For more information contact Ken Reinwald at 720-839-7966.
Missions. Through the month of September we will be focusing on missions. Cassie Brooks, our NMI (Nazarene Missions International) president has planned two events for this emphasis.
• Crisis Care Kits! will be packed on Saturday September 26th; 9 am at the church. Crisis Care Kits are filled with shampoo, soap, tooth paste, tooth brush, nail clippers, comb and washcloth, these items are distributed through Nazarene Compassionate Ministries to areas of natural disasters (hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes etc). We will need volunteers to fill the 2 gallon zip bags they are packaged in.
Fall Festival Saturday, October 3; 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Like last year - we need many volunteers! Would you be willing to sign up? You can respond to this email with your information or there will be sign up sheets at The Welcome Desk.
Men’s Ministry Breakfast Saturday, October 10; 8 - 10 a.m. Please RSVP the church office if you are interested in attending.
A NORAD Tour is being planned for 2021. If you are interested in touring NORAD please email the church office.
