school they’re from.
I will applaud appropriately
I will not make or take phone calls or text messages during
performance sessions.
I will not run in the hallways
If I need assistance from “fill in the blank,” I will approach them
Calmly and wait to see if either is speaking (or listening to another speak)
before I begin talking
I will be patient if I need to get help from “fill in the blank” because I
realize that they are only ONE person and will help me as quickly as possible
I will not enter or exit a classroom until the judge tells us we are permitted
to enter or exit
I will watch performances if I am not participating in an event.
I will not yell, scream or raise my voice
I will not be rude to students, parents or teachers
I will be helpful to my fellow students and to others at the festival
(i.e. pushing chairs in, cleaning up the classrooms after sessions, etc.)
I will CLEAN UP after myself in the commons. I won’t expect someone
else to throw my trash and/or drink away. If someone reminds me to clean
up, I won’t be rude to them, I will appreciate that they’re trying to help keep
