Big Miss a renowned personality of Moga can never be for-

gotten. She was not only an educationist but also a mother like

personality who could easily understand our problems and was

    always ready to present remedies.

I feel proud that I worked under her dynamic leadership. Her well

planted seed of knowledge in Moga has turned itself into a big

tree of knowledge and under the shade of this tree so many learn-

ers come and go to serve the humanity.

My Tribute to Big Miss on her death anniversary.

By, Mr. Virender Singh (Physics Department )

Remember, we, the old days of the time.

Meditate on all your works for me.

I muse on the work of your hand for us.

    Remember, I stretch my hands.

Heard me speedily with a care.

Lest I be like unto them that go down into pit.

    Mr. Jayarajan. P ( SST Department )

Though I had worked only for two years under Big Miss, I

immensely experienced her deep concern. Love and en-

couragement. Her beautiful smile and readiness to ex-

tend her helping hand made a lasting impact on me. She

was a great visionary and educationist. She dedicated her

whole life for the cause of education. She is really a

source of inspiration for many. Her simplicity and never

saying no spirit continues to motivate me. May the life

she has led, continue to inspire us to continue the great

    work she started.

Mr. Rajesh Lakra ( English Department )

Late Mrs. Vasantha Abraham was an eminent educationalist with pragmatic visions, who established Sacred Heart School, Moga. Along with education, discipline was the major concern for her.

Mrs. Vasantha Abraham (Big Miss) as a Principal at Sacred Heart School, she would always love to get away from her office to go and teach, Because she loves teaching.

She spent most of her life for the prestigious cause of pro-moting education in Moga. She still remains the source of strength and inspiration for all of us.

Mr. Sukhbir Singh Kalsi ( Nodal Officer )

Mrs. Vasantha Abraham was an excellent mistress, who followed an ultimate goal of walk as children of light and leaded the pathway of S.H.S in such a way that today it shines brightly among the excellent and advanced education provider as well as trainer. Her motto was:- Train up a child in the way he should go: even when he is old he will not depart from it. She was strong, motivational and a good manager who clearly outlines expectations for staff & students as a result school tends to make progress. She was like a lender who demonstrates whats possible and how we can attain and sustain the success in our life.

Mrs. Amarjeet Arora ( English Department )

She was, she is and she will be always important to us

because she was, she is and she will be our inspiration to

carry on the literary exploration. She holds a place of honour

in our hearts and so we still call her as Big Miss.

Mrs. Harminder Gill ( SST Department )

Mrs. Vasantha Abraham, the founder Principal of Sacred Heart School, Moga, an educationist, a perfect and responsible lady, who was always concerned with each and every person who worked under her supervision. Today, on this day, I dedicate these lines to our beloved Big Miss from the core of my heart. I thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday, and days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name, All I have are memories, And your picture in a frame. Your memory is my keepsake, with which I will never part. God has you in His keeping, I have you in my heart.!! Forever and always

Mrs. Sucheta Aggarwal ( English Department )

Life is a battle does not always go, to the stronger and the fastest man, But sooner or later the man who wins is the man who thinks he can. Memories are like the smell of freshly wet soil by rain making us feel lively. Memories are like the lingering fragrance of incense sticks sweet and sooting . Memories are like a cup of coffee uplifting us. Memories are like music touching the chords of our heart. Memories are like mothers love which soothes an aching heart. By. Lorraine Antony. Those who educate children well are more to be honoured then they who produce them, for teacher gives meaning to ones life.

A society grows great when old man plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in. Same way our Big Mam has planted a huge tree of education SACRED HEART SCHOOL un-der whose shade many lives flourished and benefitted and still many - many more to be flourished.

Big Mam has nourished this tree of education with her cheerful, caring, humble and motherly attitude. We all can feel her pres-ence in this temple of education.

A big salute to our Big Miss.

    Mr. Pardeep Kumar

As we are going to celebrate our Former Principal Big Miss

Vasantha Abraham 7th Anniversary on 29th September 2016.

Here, I want to tell about her life she was a great Missionary,

she came here to start a school with a vision of helping humanity

by producing good humans. On those days she faced struggles,

but smilingly by her fellowship with Lord Jesus Christ, belief on

God made her to complete her race with successfully. She was

a loving, dedicated, respectful to each and every students, teachers

and society. As Bible says, from I Thessalonians 4 : 13

But we do not want you to be Uninformed, brethren, about those

who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no

hope so I have hope I will meet her in heaven one day.

Death thinks it can take you away from me. But it doesnt know you will always live in my memory. I miss you a lot Big Miss.

A Tableau performed by Primary wing students in accordance with Independence Day celebration

One day a school teacher wrote on the board the follow-ing: 91=7 92=18 93=27 94=36 95=45 96=54 97=63 98=72 99=81 910=90 When she was done, she looked to the students and they were all laughing at her, because of the first equation which was wrong, and then the teacher said the follow-ing, "I wrote that first one wrong on purpose, because I want-ed you to learn something important. This was for you to know how the world out there will treat you. You can see that I wrote RIGHT 9 times, but none of you congratulat-ed me for it; you all laughed and criticized me because of one wrong thing I did. So this is the lesson...: 'The world will never appreciate the good you do a million times, but will criticize the one wrong thing you do... But don't get discouraged, ALWAYS RISE ABOVE ALL THE LAUGHTER AND CRITICISM. STAY STRONG.' "

Story By Sinu Grover Primary Teacher

The greatest person I have ever met, Sub: In the memory of your soul. Dear Big Miss, You are an inspiration for the people who are in desperation; you are a source of knowledge for the ones who need it. You encour-aged and motivated us with those words we make our each day. We, mere human beings are enriched in our lives and characters by the example set by you which cant be over taken by anyone. Because of the interceding power of you for us to the al-mighty, we still carry the lamp which you lighted for us and the people around. We believe that because of your power we still get strength to go ahead.. Your name itself is a great motivation for us, Mrs. Vasantha Abraham. In Malayalam we say Vasantha Kaalam which means the spring sea-son. We all know that spring season full of refresh-ing cool breeze and also a time for the new buds to bloom in different colours. Likewise when we hear your name, it is like a refreshing cool breeze which is an enthusiasm for all of us. The new ideas and activities are blooming in colourful ways because of your name and blessings. We hope the same bless-ing will remain generation after generation.. Loved you a lot in the few months which I could spend with you.. Still Love You Yours affectionately Praveen.V

Students delegate of Sacred Heart School, Moga at the Model United Nations Conference 2016 held at Hotel Trident

International Mumbai from 19th to 22nd August, 2016, organized by Cathedral John Connon School, Mumbai

Apart from his political arena as the architect of Indian constitution, really it is unquestionable, I would like to perceive him through a socio-educational point of view. At the time of caste system and maddening untouchabil-ity, it was quite difficult for a person like him, from an underprivileged community , to come up to the main stream of education and maintain a social standard.

Behind the successful saga of each and everyone, there would be a series of painful strenuous efforts. When we remember Dr. Ambedkar, it should be as a war-rior tirelessly fought against all the odd conditions with a vision, not only for himself but for thousands who even haven't had any identity of their own. He emerged a s a Northern Star. People began to follow his path and ex-plored many things which they considered as unachieva-ble in the field of education and society. It is really un-common in getting motivation from a single person on academic success and social upliftment.

5th September must be equally commemorated for the unveiling contribitions of Dr. Ambedkar. He no doubt, remains forever and ever as a torch tower for our youth and the people who lost their faith in life in between.

If you determine to do something, the whole world will follow you.
