Our Team is still in the process of studying the Final Report. The Report is very

exhaustive and has conclusions to the point. Recommendations are very clear and

understandable. As in 1st phase we would like to migrate some of our

Electromechanical Relays to Numerical Relays and also work on the Protection system of

230KV Switchyard. We would also like to go ahead with the Standby Earth Fault for

distribution transformers also.

We are extremely thankful for such an elaborative and informative study and would

surely proceed with the suggestions and corrections.

Ambuja, Bhatapara is operating 2x15 MW + 1x33 MW Captive Power Plant Unit in synchronization

with the 132 kV Grid pow&.

This CPP Unit operational reliability was not satisfactory due to various Electrical / system related

problems.

1.0 Various Power System Studies such as Short Circuit Study, Transient Stability Study, Relay

Setting & Relay Co-ordination, Unit Protection Setting.

2.0 Generator, Generator Transformer & all outgoing feeder Protection Relay testing of

STG-1, 2 & 3.

Engineering & Implementation of Generator Protection trip relay logic (Class-A, Class-B,

Class-C) modification. A

4.0 Generator CTs & PTs testing.

5.0 Generator Transformer Protection testing.

6.0 Adopting all protection relay setting.

7.0 Control Wiring Check, etc.

A period of more than 12 months has lapsed from the time the schemes were implemented. We

are pleased to place on record that,

The CPP System has now stabilized with improved reliability.

Protection Systems are working as per the Relay Setting, Relay Coordination without any

nuisance tripping.

This CPP stability has hetped to improve the plant reliabilrty and steady running and

consequently the plant protection.

We are satiii with the overall (Design + Power System Study + Testing - Commissioning)

services provided by MIS. Power System Cans- (A Power Linker Group Co.). We
