It is with great pleasure that I extend to my warmest welcome to Varador 2000 Shipyard & Mataró Marina Barcelona, a company meticulously designed to offer specialised and worry-free services for super&megayachts and their crews.
Ever since we began to envisage these facilities more than 30 years ago, our actions have been drive by a desire to offer large yachts and their captains a one-of-a-kind shipyard & marine on the Western Mediterranean – a team capable of offering all the services and facilities needed to make you stay truly unique, based on our experience and the qualified opinions of seasoned captains.
Throughout the construction process we have taken into account the highest technology available for a shipyard refit and berthing which responds to the dimensions and needs of super&megayachts. Moreover, we have thought very carefully about the needs of the people whose lives are linked to the port on a day-to-day basis.

Varador 2000 boast a 10.000 sqm technical area equipped with the lastest technological advances to provide repair&refit services for vessels with long lengths.
Its location just outside Barcelona offers significant strategic value and represents a huge appeal for shipowners and captains, not to mention businesses related to super&megayacht industry. Maresme, north area of Barcelona, boasts all the characteristics our costumers value: it’s an area with a vibrant cultural life and excellent restaurants and tourist activities, but at the same time it is peaceful and easily accessible from Barcelona and the airport.

1984. The second generation of the Mas family takes the helm of Náutica Esplai, the company founded by Lluís Mas, creating a public limited company dedicated to sales and nautical services.

1992. The company manages the facilities of the Arenys de Mar shipyard (200-tonne travelift and 7,000 m² dry dock), which allow to offer comprehensive nautical services.

varador2000 main facilities are situated in a privileged location, at the entrance of the port of Arenys de Mar, not far from Barcelona.The varador2000 Repair & Refit Shipyard has a 10,000 square-metre technical esplanade. In 2019, an extra 2.500 m² were added to the technical area, with new dry dock space and specialist workshops. The company also has a base for large yachts (Mataró Marina Barcelona) in the Port of Mataró and a branch in Palma (Mallorca). Thanks to this solid infrastructure, varador2000 offers its clients in the Mediterranean a comprehensive service with unsurpassed guarantees: experience, commitment, service, innovation and quality.

Las instalaciones centrales de varador2000 se encuentran en una ubicación privilegiada, la bocana del puerto de Arenys de Mar, muy cercano a Barcelona. El Astillero de Repair & Refit de varador2000 ocupa una explanada técnica de 10.000 metros cuadrados. En 2019 la base técnica creció en 2.500 m², con nuevos espacios de varada y nuevos talleres especializados. La empresa también dispone de una base náutica para barcos de Gran Eslora (Mataró Marina Barcelona) en el puerto de Mataró y tiene delegación en Palma (Mallorca). Gracias a estas potentes infraestructuras, varador2000 ofrece a sus clientes un servicio global en el Mediterráneo con una garantía insuperable: experiencia, compromiso, servicio, innovación y calidad.
