    Assistant Professor:-1. A basic Veterinary qualification, unless otherwise required and

    prescribed, and Good academic record with at least 55% marks(or an equivalent grade of 6.5/10.0 or 3.2/4.0 in a point scalewherever grading system is followed) at the Master's Degree level

    in a relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalentdegree from an accredited foreign University.

    2. For the candidates having Master's degree, NET/SET shallremain compulsory (subject to condition provided at serialnumber three below) along with one publication in NAAS(National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, New Delhi) ratedrefereed journal for recruitment for the post of AssistantProfessor and equivalent in the disciplines, where NET isconducted. Essentiality of NET can be waived off for thecandidates holding Ph.D. degree provided it has been done withcourse work, as prescribed UGC Regulations 2009, andcandidate has at least two full length publications having aNAAS rating of not less than 4, on the last date of thesubmission of application. Those candidates with Ph.D. degreewithout course work will not qualify for NET exemption.

    3. Looking to scarcity of qualified human resource in manydisciplines of Veterinary and Animal Science, a candidate havingproficiency and requisite qualifications, but is yet to clearNET/SET, his/her candidature shall be considered and if foundsuitable and selected, he/she shall have to pass NET/SETwithin a period of three years of the appointment, failing which

    his/her appointment shall be terminated without notice. Nofurther extension will be given to fulfill aforesaid conditions.

    1.Programme Coordinator:- Doctoral Degree in any disciplineof Veterinary and Animal Sciences with 08 years experienceas Scientist/Lecturer/ Extension Specialist or in anequivalent position in the Pay Band-3 of Rs. 15600-39100with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/Rs.6000/Rs.7000/Rs.8000having made contribution to Research/Teaching/ExtensionEducation as evidenced by published work/innovations andimpact. Desirable: Specialization in implementing ExtensionEducation Programmes.

    2.Subject Matter Specialist : A consistently good academicrecord with at least 55% marks ( or an equivalent grade of6.5/10.00 or 3.2/4.0 in a point scale wherever gradingsystem is followed) at the Master's Degree level in a relevantsubject from an Indian University or an equivalent degreefrom an accredited foreign University.

    GENERAL NOTE AND CONDITIONS

    1. (i) Initial appointments on all advertised posts would bemade as Probationer Trainee for a period of Two yearsand the person would be governed by theGovernment of Rajasthan Notification No. F. 1(2) FD/Rules/2006 dated 13.03.2006 & F.12(6)FD/ (Rules)/05 dated 13.03.2006. The fixed remunerationpayable during the period of Probationer Trainee wouldbe as under (or revised by the Government) :-(a) For the Post of Dean/ Director/Addl.

    (b) For the Post of Associate Professor/Prog.Coordinator:- Rs. 39000/- fixed p.m.

    (c) For the Post of Assistant Professor, Asstt.Director, Asstt Director Physical Education &Asstt. Librarian:- Rs.18200/- fixed p.m.

    (d) For the Post of Dy.Registrar, Dy.Comptroller :-Rs. 20200/-fixed p.m.

    (e) For the Post of Assistant Registrar, AccountsOfficer ,Assistant Engineer, Instructor, V.A.S. &Subject Matter Specialist:-Rs.16800/-fixed p.m.

    (ii) However a candidate who is already in regular servicein the State Governments/PSU/Universities/Board/Local Authority/Institution if selected on any post or ifselected in any other post in the same University, maybe given the option to get fixed remuneration of thenew post or pay of the previous post held in StateGovernment/PSU/University/Board/LocalAuthority/ Institution, whichever is beneficial, duringthe period of probation, provided that the pay paid tohim/her shall not be more than the pay that he/ she

    would be entitled to draw on the day of joining the newpost had he/she joined the new post on the date thathe/she joined the old post. After successful completionof probation period his/her pay may be fixed as perrules treating him/her as an existing employee.

    2. A relaxation of 5 % will be provided (from 55% to 50%) in themarks, at the Master's Level for SC/ST/OBC categorycandidates.

    3. Reservation shall be provided to SC/ST/OBC/SBCcandidates as per Rajasthan Universities Teachers andOfficers (selection for appointment) Act, 1974 (Act No. 18 of

    1984) for bonafide of Rajasthan State as per Government ofRajasthan directives. The candidates belong to OBC/SBC

    must submit their cast certificate issued recently (Not beforesix months from the date of interview) for the propose of

    creamy layer.4. The New contributory Pension Scheme to the Employeesappointed on or after 01.01.2004 and all other rules asamended by the Government of Rajasthan in this behalf fromtime to time (F.13 (1)Finance/Rules/2003 dated 06.05.2004)shall be applicable.

    5. In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selectionwhich may be detected at any stage even after the issue ofappointment letter, the University reserves the right tomodify/withdraw/ cancel any communication made to thecandidates.

    6. Those already employed should get the hard copy forwardedthrough proper channel or bring NOC at the time of interview,if invited.

    7. Those already employed in State Governments/ CentralGovernment/ Universities/ Board/Local Authorities etc.should submit their Pay Certificate for protection of their pay,if so required.

    8. Any type of canvassing or influencing will be treated asdisqualification.

    9. A copy of application filled online must be brought at the timeof interview, if called for, along with all original documents,testimonials, reprints etc. with a spare set of self-attestedphotocopies of all.

    10. University will not be responsible for any delay on account ofproblems of software, internet connectivity, payment gatewayetc.

    11. No hard copy shall be considered as an application for anypost by the University.

    12. The number of posts can be increased/decreased maintainingthe Roster system for reservation.

    13. The University reserves the right not to fill up any or all postsadvertised.

    14. If the number of applications is high, screening may be donethrough written test.

    15. University may fix criteria to short list candidates to be calledfor interviews according to No. of posts and category.

    16. Online Application form filled incomplete in any respect willnot be considered.

    17. The plan/Scheme posts are coterminous with the Plan/Scheme.

    18. The required fee is to be deposited online either through NetBanking/Debit Card/ Credit Card options or through Challanforms downloaded from the site as per instructionsmentioned thereon.

    19. Candidates are advised to follow online instructions withutmost care so as to avoid any error in filling up.
