Western Society of Malacologists and International Workshop on Opisthobranchs- Joint Meeting 2012 University of California-Santa Cruz June 24-27, 2012 The meeting will be held among the redwoods (and banana slugs) on the beautiful main campus of the University of California-Santa Cruz in Santa Cruz, CA. Housing and meals will be available on campus. starting at noon on Sunday June 24, 2012 with departure by 1 pm on Wednesday, June 27. Tentative schedule: June 24: 12-8:30: Registration at Porter College, UCSC, ice cream social and public lecture by Dr. Terrence M. Gosliiner, California Academy of Sciences June 25: Talks and posters, including symposium on History of NE Pacific Malacology June 26: Symposium on Terrestrial Gastropods, session of International Workshop on Opisthobranchs, contributed talks, business meeting and meeting dinner June 27 morning: Paleontology field trip; possible excursion to Big Basin redwoods, and contributed talks (as needed).
