Justo como el cangrejo en nuestra portada hace su camino fuera de la arena, Costa Rica, lenta-mente está volviendo a la normalidad después de las fuertes lluvias que resultaron en un daño de casi un 25% en infraestructura que necesita repararse.

Esta última edición del año 2010 trae otra nueva imagen a Dominical Days. Hemos transforma-do la publicación a un tamaño de revista y más como un periódico en apariencia. Los gráficos están actualizados así como el tipo de fuente y el tamaño, haciéndola más cómoda para leer. El en-foque editorial continua siendo el mismo. Conti-nuaremos publicándola completamente bilingüe en ambos Inglés y Español, ocasionalmente, en otro idioma, según lo amerite la ocasión.

Un cambio aún mayor será colocar Dominical Days en línea. Durante las semanas siguientes, usted será capaz de acceder la publicación en cualquiera de estos dos sitios en internet:

The Dominical Little Theater está produciendo su Show de Navidad titulado Fuera de este Mun-do en el Hotel Villa Roca los días 19, 21 y 23 de Di-ciembre, 2010. Tiquetes en pre-venta se pueden conseguir en el Uvita Information Center o en la Venta de Garaje en Roca Verde el 5 de Diciembre. Victoria Leamer Hughes, una miembro activa del grupo, es una contribuidora editorial con su co-lumna mensual llamada La vida de actor, donde ella comparte sus pensamientos y puntos de vis-ta, sobre como balancear las necesidades espiri-tual y físicas de los seres humanos.

El presidente de Asana, Richard Margoluis, ha estado escribiendo artículos editoriales en su co-lumna mensual llamada En el paso de la danta. Durante su presidencia, Richard ha dado a Asana una muy necesaria nueva imagen organizacional, con nuevo personal, un nuevo logo y un nuevo acercamiento a la información. Les invito a mirar las actividades de este mes de Asana, así como el editorial de Richard titulado amenazas ocultas.

Les deseo a todos una delicada transición de las semanas pasadas de la estación lluviosa hacia el clima tropical seco y espero que disfruten en paz y tranquilidad con familia y amigos durante los días festivos que vendrán.

Querida lectora, querido lector Dear ReaderJust as the crab on our cover page works its way out of the sand, Costa Rica is slowly getting back to nor-mal after the heavy rains which resulted in almost 25% of the nation’s infrastructure in need of repair.

This last edition in the year 2010 brings yet another facelift to Dominical Days. We transformed the publication to full magazine size and made it more like a newspaper in appearance. The graphics are updated and so is the font type and size, making it more enjoyable to read. The editorial focus remains the same as ever. We will continue to publish com-pletely bilingual in both Spanish and English and, oc-casionally, in another language, as the occasion may seem fit.

A major change will be to bring Dominical Days on-line. During the upcoming weeks, you will be able to access the publication at either one of these two locations on the internet:www.dominicaldays.comDominical Days

Gradually, all the back issues will also become ac-cessible on-line and be made available through an elegant electronic reader application.

The Dominical Little Theater is producing their Christmas Show titled Out of this World at the Roca Verde Hotel in Dominical on December 19, 21, and 23, 2010. Advance tickets may be purchased at the Uvi-ta Information Center or at the Roca Verde Garage Sale on December 5. Victoria Leamer Hughes, an active member of the Dominical Little Theater, is a contributing editor with her monthly column called A Thespian Life, in which she shares her thoughts and insights on how to balance humankind’s spir-itual and physical needs.

The president of Asana, Richard Margoluis, has been writing editorial feature articles in his monthly col-umn called In the Path of the Tapir. During his presi-dency, Richard has given Asana a much needed or-ganizational facelift, with new staff, a new logo, and a new information approach. I invite you to look at this month’s special feature on Asana’s activities as well as Richard’s editorial entitled Threats, Unseen.
